Lizard story

*WHEN A LIZARD CAN, WHY CAN'T WE?*
.
This is a true story that happened in Japan.
.
In order to renovate the house, A Japanese man breaks open the wall.
Japanese houses normally have a hollow space between the wooden walls.
When tearing down the walls, he found that there was a lizard stuck there, because a nail from outside hammered into one of its feet.
He sees this, feels pity, and at the same time, curious, as when he checked the nail, it was nailed 5 years ago, when the house was first built!!!
.
*What happened?*
.
The lizard had survived in such position for 5 years!!!
In a dark wall partition for 5 years without moving, it is impossible and mind-boggling
.
Then he wondered how this lizard survived for 5 years without moving a single inch, since its foot was nailed!
.
So he stopped his work and observed the lizard, what it has been doing, and what and how it has been eating
.
Later, not knowing from where it came, appears another lizard, with food in its mouth.
.
Ah! He was stunned and touched deeply.
For the lizard that was stuck by nail, another lizard has been feeding it for the past 5 years.
.
Imagine? It has been doing that untiringly for 5 long years, without giving up hope on its partner.
Imagine what a small creature can do, that a creature blessed with a brilliant mind cannot do.
.
Please, never abandon your loved ones. Don't turn your back on people because they are in difficulty. Don't see yourself as more intelligent or the best, You may be a bit luckier today but life for its uncertainties can change things tomorrow....
.
A Moment of negligence might break the very heart which loved you against all odds..
Before you say something just remember... It takes a moment to Break, but an entire lifetime to make....God created space within our fingers so that we can hold hands......

Was I there for you in times of your needs? Were you there for me when most needed?

Be there for somebody today!!!

Normally, is supposed to be 12 months program, but since students are not going to resumed at the same time, hence we have students who only ended spending between 10 months and 9 months throughout the program.
The A LEVEL PROGRAM (IJMB) is a federal government approved program of 9 month moderated by Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. It is designed to solve problems of admission for candidates seeking admission into Nigeria University instead of JAMB.
The examination is conducted in the first-quarter of every year, while the results is released in due time for admission processing. Interested Candidate are expected to select any THREE (3) A LEVEL SUBJECTS related to their course of study From:

1.Physics, Chemistry, biology, Mathematics & Geography for SCIENCE CANDIDATES

On completion of the programme, successful candidates can use their result to gain admission into 200 level in any Nigeria university through direct entry. When admission begins in September/October, they are then shortlisted for admission into their chosen institution.

Most candidate who failed either in jamb or post ume in the past always do this program and most of them get admission into 200level and meet their colleagues in 200 level. The good news is that a lot of people are entering into the university via IJMB program directly into 200 level because of its relevance.

The A LEVEL PROGRAM (IJMBallows you to choose three courses/subjects that are related to what you want to study in the university of your choice.

Oduduru emerged as the overall best athlete, when Nigeria hosted the maiden African Youth Championship (AYAC) in Warri, Delta State in March this year. He won two gold medals in the 100m and 200m before anchoring the nation’s medley relay team to victory.

Speaking with The Guardian on arrival in Donetsk, venue of the competition, Coach Agboro, who has retired from the civil service, revealed that his determination to fish out hidden talents led to the discovering of Oduduru few years ago during an Inter House Sports competition in Asaba, the Delta State capital.

“I was in charge of sports at the Delta State University, Abraka, when I was recalled to Asaba. As the head of the state athletics team, I took it upon myself to always go to sporting events, especially inter house sports competitions within and outside the state capital.

“At the inter house sports competition by West End Mixed Secondary School in Asaba, I saw this young boy performed wonder. Then, Oduduru was in the junior class (JSS2). His speed, stride and the way he took off from the block reminded me of some world-class athletes. After the race I moved in and that was how I have been guiding him since then.

Speaking further, Agboro said, “before the Warri 2013 AYAC Games, Oduduru ran 10.51 seconds in one of the competitions. When he ran 10.62 seconds to win the 100m during AYAC, I did not applaud him. The reason is simple. I told him that his performance was not encouraging because I expected him to run a better time than 10.62 seconds.

“But I also realised that my absence at the AYAC Games might have affected his performance. Since I came into the camp, Oduduru has picked up greatly. I am not trying to say that the other coaches are not good. No, they have their areas of specialties just as I have mine.

“Before Oduduru left Nigeria for Ukraine, he could easily do with 21.00 seconds in the 200m event and that is encouraging considering his young age. He is just coming out of secondary school and by the time we finish work on him, I am sure he will be a product for our Rio 2016 Olympics Games project. He has the potentials,” Agboro stated.

Oduduru is fondly called ‘Antelope’ by his fans due to his speed. He is not the only athlete the coach discovered for Team Nigeria in the competition.

“I also discovered Charles Okezie, who is the second fastest young sprinter in Africa at the moment. He is also a student of West End Mixed Secondary School in Asaba. He is currently in SS11 at the moment.

Education is the key
